Due to the fact that this weekend we learned how to blend nail tips; which resulted in my nails being destroyed, I'm posting a review instead of new art, seeing as I need to give my nails some healing time.
So today I'm reviewing La Fresh by Ecobeauty's Acetone-Free Nail Polish Remover Pads:
In my May Glymm box, I received two of these little packets. They maintain that they are 100% biodegradable (which is wonderful) and they come in a "Fresh Tuscan Orange Scent". The packaging on them is cute. On Glymm.com they sell a pack of 18 for $9.99 CAN.

As you can see, they have the size listed on the front, and make the claim that one of these 1.875" by 2.75" pads will clean ALL ten of your nails.

So this is the pad after removed from its packaging. It was a bit moist, it felt more oily than wet, and it has a large diamond weave texture to it, which I'm sure helped with scrubbing away the polish.
Now, to test their claims I took removed this mani (from last week's Flashback Friday):

As you can see the Black Roses did not last very long. This is before I went near them with the Nail Polish Remover pads.

So, I proceeded and following their directions I managed to get rid of all the nail polish; a couple down sides to these pads: they took FOREVER a min 20 minutes of scrubbing to get it all off; the scent was too strong for me(it smelled nice, but I'm allergic to a lot of artificial fragrances); I had to use both pads for both hands, and still some polish was left over. On the plus side, my nails, cuticles, eponychium and skin didn't feel dry and tight after using them.

As you can see, by the end of it, they look war-torn. They've been through a serious battle with my nail polish hahah. They were falling apart by the end of it, and I realize they aren't soaked with polish, but I found that after about 4 fingers the pads had dried out and weren't working all that well which was why I broke open the second pack.
So my final verdict on these is this: I would not purchase these, ever.
Pros:
- Biodegradable
- Nice scent(albeit a tad strong for me)
- Leaves my skin and nails feeling moisturized
Cons:
- Pricey
- Don't hold up well
- 1 pad did NOT clean all 10 fingers as promised; still had to use regular remover to get rid of remnants
- Took too long for my liking to remove
